Schindler’s List portrays the life of Oskar Schindler and his efforts during the Holocaust. Spielberg breaks out of his comfort zone and earned seven Academy Awards for his trouble. Schindler’s List shows a harsh black and white realism that portrays the battle between good and evil. Despite the films massive controversy it was an enormous success with audiences and critics proving Spielberg as one of the all time great film directors.
