Continuing their examinations of circumstances, conscience, and fate from their previous works, the Coen brothers adapt a Cormac McCarthy novel into No Country for Old Men. When a man finds a lot of money from a drug deal that did not go very well, a remorseless assassin soon hunts him. We watch this cold and ruthless hitman destroy everything in his way to get his hands on the money. It’s a masterfully executed game of cat and mouse that easily earned its Academy Awards.
