What happens when heroes begin to feel old and out of date? The innocents they once protected will turn towards a younger and more violent generation. Kingdom Come is an Elseworld story that asks questions about those with great power and how they should wield it to make the world a better place. The story is told from the perspective of Norman McCay, a local pastor who is called by The Spectre to decide the fate of the superhumans and the rest of humanity. The legendary Alex Ross draws some of the most iconic panels in comic book history to depict an epic story of despair, apocalypse, fury, and hope. Kingdom Come remains not only as one of the greatest comics of all time, but as the ultimate tribute to the legacy of DC Comics.
