Anyone up for a bit of the ole ultra-violence? A Clockwork Orange follows Alex DeLarge and his gang of delinquents as it explores the true meaning behind free will and mindless anarchy. The film’s excessive violence attributed towards loosening the rigid standard of cinema for depicting mature topics, even to where the film’s own director questioned himself on if he went too far. Regardless, it remains to this day as a landmark piece of science fiction cinema with multiple Oscar nominations to show for it.
