What if the world around you was not what you thought it was? What if reality was merely an illusion created by computers with really superb graphics? The action sci-fi classic The Matrix asks these questions and more. Keanu Reeves stars as Neo, the chosen one destined to overthrow the machines and save humanity from their cushy prison. This is easier said than done, however, since Neo must defeat the powerful Agent Smith and defeat his doubt. What follows is a complex journey filled with incredible visual style, outstanding slow-motion bullet dodging, amazing choreographed fights, and shootouts galore.
