Based on the true story of British officer T. E. Lawrence, Lawrence of Arabia stars Peter O’Toole as the titular Lawrence, who leads an Arabic revolt against their Turkish rulers. The film is famous for being wide in scope with exceptional cinematography and an intricately woven plot. It was beloved by all upon release and is one of the all-time great epics of cinema.
