All-Star Superman is what many fans claim to be the definitive Superman story. When Superman saves Dr. Leo Quintum and his team of scientists from an exploration mission to the sun gone wrong, he discovers that his strength and other abilities have grown exponentially. Dr. Leo also discovers that Superman’s sworn enemy Lex Luthor planned this incident to overburden Superman’s cells with solar radiation; which is slowly killing him. Now Superman only has one year to ensure that mankind is under protection after he dies. All-Star Superman contains some of the most iconic panels in comic book history. Panels that evoke wonder, grief, love, and above all, inspiration. All-Star Superman also tells a beautiful story of perseverance and that there is always another way.
