Let me ask you a question. What do you get when you combine Jim Henson, George Lucas, and David Bowie? A weird and wild fantasy movie, that’s what! The fabulous David Bowie stars as the Goblin King Jareth and you can’t have David Bowie in a movie without having that dude sing! If that doesn’t sound like a fantasy of epic proportions, I don’t know what will. When a young Jennifer Connelly wishes for her baby brother to disappear, she was probably not expecting to travel through the twisted Labyrinth to save him: A magical place that is as fun as it is freakish. It’s a movie that’s about as 80s as you could hope for.
