Behold… the birth of a new form of entertainment. Snow White and the Seven Dwarves proved to the world that animation could see so much more than amusing shorts. The film follows the classic fairy tale of Snow White and her jealous stepmother and not only saved Walt Disney Productions from bankruptcy but paved the way for all animated films to follow. Not bad for a film everybody predicted was going to be “Disney’s Folly.”
