A film that millions will recognize from the score alone, Jaws is infamous for being the prototypical summer blockbuster and for being a watershed moment in the history of cinema. The film follows a Great White Shark that begins terrorizing a small beach town and the team that is hired to take it out. The film was infamous for its portrayal of graphic violence and became the highest-grossing film of its time. Despite what some may think, the film is not all blood and guts since it does not have bland horror stereotypes but interesting characters with layers and motivations.
